Page numbering on resume shell

LMolina's picture

Hi all,

I am using the resume shell available at Shell directories: Other documents/Resume - SW Resume #1

And i would like to print the page number in every page (at the final pdf). Those numbers are not available.

I have tried with the fancy header package but nothing happens, probably because it is a predefined shell.

I hope you can help me.

Best regards, and thank you in advance.

You can override the page

You can override the page style setting in the .sty file by adding the following to the document preamble:

\pagestyle{plain}

 Open sw20res1.sty in a text

 Open sw20res1.sty in a text editor. If you used the default structure when you installed sw(p), you will find these files in C"\swp55\TCITeX\TeX\LaTeX\SWmacros. (Replace swp wiht sw if you are using Scientific Word.) Locate the line

\pagestyle{empty}

and replace it with

%\pagestyle{empty}.

This change typesets the correct page number on each page, including page one. To eliminate the page number on the first page place the command

 \thispagestyle{empty}

in an encapsulated TeX field somewhere on the first page.
