Captions above and below a figure

tomprice's picture
Hello,
Scientiic WorkPlace and Word will markup captions above and below a figure. Using both in one figure creates two figure numbers. In LaTeX, I can use the caption package with the command \caption* to suppress the second figure number. Is there a way to do this in the SWP (SW) Graphics Properties dialog?
Thanks,
Tom

No, using \caption* is not

No, using \caption* is not supported when using the graphics object in SW.

The work around would be to use a structure similar to that used by floating tables or what is needed to use the figure* environment.  See Document 565, Using wide tables and graphics in a two-column format, for some details.  You would then use \caption and \caption* TeX fields as desired.
