I am submitting a manscript to the journal Biostatistics. The journal has a template, which they want used, containing files with the names bio.cls and a bunch of xxx.sty files. The first two lines of the .cls file are
\NeedsTeXFormat{LaTeX2e}[1995/12/01]
\ProvidesClass{biostatistics}
Where, in the directory sw50, do I put these files, so that they will be called on when I prepare my sciword document?

You should place the .cls and .sty files into a subfolder of the \TCITeX\TeX folder. There is probably also a .tex file that can serve as a template.
