SWP 6.0.27 - selecting and copying

When I select several paragraphs and copy to the clipboard, the CRLFs (carriage return, line feed) are all stripped out, so that when the information is pasted (into say Notepad or Visual Studio), everything is on one line. The information in question is all text, with the Typewriter Text Tag.

This is a problem for my students in the Computer Programming with Calculus course because I often embed a C++ program in the class notes. They are able to copy and paste so that they can run the program. Unfortunately, it is a lot of work to put the information into readable form in Visual Studio or XCode.

Is there a way for me to fix this?

This is a kludge, but if what

This is a kludge, but if what you want to do is extract parts of your SWP6 document to make it available as text to your students, it may be doable.

1. Extract all the parts you want to make available to a new swp6 document.

2. In the new document, tag all the text as verbatim.

3. If necessary, correct any newlines.

4. Copy the stuff to the clipboard, open a text editor and paste it in. In my preferred text editor (OxEdit) this works, in the sense that the line endings are preserved; I don't know about other editors.
