elsarticle.cls

Now I am using elsarticle.cls and I would like to erase two lines which appear at the bottom of pages.
These are two lines: Preprinted submitted to Nuclear Physics B and today like September 25, 2014.

Parts of the elsarticle.cls

Parts of the elsarticle.cls imply that this footer should not appear on the title page if final is selected as the quality class option.  However, there is only one pagestyle defined and used for the title page and it includes the journal name and current date.

Modifying the page footer in the document preamble can suppress the text.  To the document preamble add:

\makeatletter
\def\ps@pprintTitle{}
\makeatother

You should not do this if you will be submitting the document to Springer.
